The University of Scranton’s Kania School of Management through generous support of the Wall Street West Initiative has established The Woman’s Business Center. The Center is designed to promote women and business ownership, and working in conjunction with the University of Scranton Small Business Development Center, to offer programs and services to support women business owners in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

An innovative program for learning, the WBC offers a variety of entrepreneurial resources, educational programs, advocacy initiatives and networking opportunities to women entrepreneurs, the fastest growing segment of the small business market.

The mission of the WBC is “to strengthen the economic impact of women business owners as a collective force and to advance their growth through innovative programming in entrepreneurship and new business creation.” The University of Scranton’s Kania School of Management is prepared to provide the support, education, and encouragement essential for the continued growth of women-owned businesses through its services.
