Kania School of Management Women’s Business Center will serve as a tool which:

provides technical assistance to women who are interested in owning/managing their own small business;

offers quality training programs geared toward start-up, financing, recordkeeping and business management;

affords a way for women to access computerized training (webinars, on-line tutorials) in both English and Spanish;

allows one-on-one consulting for women who need guidance and business planning assistance to bring their business idea to fruition.

 
     
 

A variety of educational programs are available to assist women entrepreneurs in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to develop and run successful small businesses. From start up rules and regulations to creating financial projections, women using the services of the WBC will be assisted every step of the way on their path to business ownership.

 
     
 

The WBC is currently offering a certification program designed to walk women through the basic components and life skills development required for owning and operating a competitive small business. Another session of this program will be running again in the Fall of 2011, please check back for registration details.
